Position Details

As the successful applicant, you will analyse a number of different databases and information sources to identify service demand and delivery requirements across the organisation.  The information will be used to support the allocation of resources provided in the Community Safety Statement. You will also have the opportunity to liaise with a large number of stakeholders across the organisation with regards to the Staff Allocation Model.


Your duties will include:

  • Utilise and capture data from a variety of Victoria Police computer systems and applications for integration into the Staff Allocation Model.
  • Undertake project management activities including development of project documentation in relation to governance, scope, risks and issues and stakeholder management across the Workforce Transformation Program. 
  • Preparation of high level briefing papers for a range of stakeholders including Senior Management and Unit/Portfolio Managers.
  • External stakeholder engagement including managing stakeholder expectations as well as developing and maintaining positive working relationships.


As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Advanced computer skills including proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and electronic databases.
  • Demonstrated data analysis skills, including the ability to interrogate large datasets to identify trends and emerging issues.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and client satisfaction. 
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals and undertake competing priorities within defined timeframes whilst maintaining attention to detail.

  • This position is located at the Victoria Police Centre, 637 Flinders Street, Docklands.
