Position Details

  • VPSG-3 range $65,713 - $79,790 p.a. + super + leave loading
  • One (1) full time, fixed term  (until 30/06/2020) position available
  • Working within the Road Policing Operations and Investigation Division, Road Policing Command located at 20 Dawson Street, Brunswick*

About the role

The Road Policing Drug & Alcohol Section manages the administrative functions of driver alcohol and drug testing across the State of Victoria. This position will provide supervision support for the administrative processing, data capture and case management of forensic samples relating to drink and drug driving.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Reporting to the Unit Manager
  • Supervising a team and contribute to team and organisation goals
  • Assisting as required with the administration and processing of alcohol and drug driving forensic samples
  • Compiling reports and data for unit management and other stakeholders

As the successful applicant you will have:

  • Demonstrated leadership and well developed communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and support change
  • Ability to develop and share knowledge with the team

Requirements and relevant information:

  • The incumbent will be required to complete the OHS requirements of the organisation, which may include local level training relating to equipment usage and Hazardous Chemicals.

*Your usual place of work will be within the Road Policing Operations and Investigation Division, Road Policing Command, however you may be required to work at any other division within the Command as required.
