Position Details

The Project Administrator role will provide administration and project support to the Division, the Senior Project Managers and project teams within the Division to enable and support the successful delivery of each project. The role will be diverse, requires flexibility and is likely to undertake a wide variety of work across the division.

Your duties will include:

  • Preparing a range of project and administrative materials and reports (e.g.  briefing notes, development of presentations, project progress reports, proposals  and correspondence);
  • Providing secretariat duties to relevant committees, governance groups and project working groups / advisory groups;
  • Providing high level administrative support to the Divisional Manager;
  • Attending to enquiries from a range of stakeholders and customers;
  • Developing positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders; and
  • Other duties as required to support the Road Policing Projects Division.

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Demonstrated administrative experience and be a confident communicator;
  • A proven history of producing high quality work;
  • An ability to work in a fast paced environment;
  • Proven ability to work with limited supervision and/or as a member of a team; and
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to write clearly and succinctly.

Requirements and relevant information:

  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
  • A relevant qualification in Project Management would be highly desirable.
  • This position is primarily located at the Victoria Police Centre – 637 Flinders Street, Docklands.
