Position Details

About the role:

This role is part of a growing and dynamic team working on the development of mental health initiatives to support employees across the organisation.

A Project Officer is required to work in the Mental Health Program Office to manage the implementation of priority projects as part of the Mental Health Review implementation. Project management experience in all elements of a project cycle as well as experience in senior stakeholder engagement, reporting and communications is desirable.

The role will also be involved in the development and introduction of programs across all levels of the organisation as part of the 2017 Community Safety Statement.

Your duties will include:

  • Preparing high level reports, briefing notes and correspondence for a range of stakeholders
  • Managing ad-hoc assigned tasks independently as required to assist the project team
  • Managing the project life cycle, including completing relevant documentation and maintenance
  • Reporting of data
  • Managing various projects within the larger project

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Highly developed research and analytical skills with proven experience in successfully providing solutions for a range of complex issues
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with demonstrated capability in the preparation of comprehensive reports, plans and proposals
  • Ability to work in collaboration with stakeholders to develop and model business requirements using best practice frameworks and methodologies
  • Proven ability to monitor stakeholder satisfaction, and constructively manage issues to ensure positive outcomes for the stakeholder and the organisation
  • Project management qualifications would be desirable
