Project Administrator

This role is part of a project team developing a significant program of work to be delivered as part of the 2017 Community Safety Statement. This team will contribute to an ‘uplift’ in Victoria Police leadership capability and culture across the workforce.

As a project administrator you will have responsibility to support the overall delivery of the project against all key milestones.

Reporting to the Senior Project Officer you will coordinate resources to assist program delivery, developing and maintaining a range of support systems.

Position Details

Your duties will include:

  • Providing high level administrative support to the project team.
  • Developing and applying policies, procedures and processes to support project delivery.
  • Analysis of data and emerging trends to support project development.
  • Maintenance of all project management artefacts and databases.
  • Coordination of venue bookings and resources to support program delivery.
  • Liaising with and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.


As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • A sound understanding of project management with demonstrated administration experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing office systems.
  • The ability to work in a changing environment within set timeframes.
  • Proficient capability using MS Office suite to support administrative functions and reporting.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate purpose and report on progress.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage and maintain stakeholder relationships. 


Requirements and relevant information:

  • One (1) Full Time (1FTE) Fixed Term up until 14.01.2021 position available, working within the School of Leadership and Career Development Division, People Development Command located at the Airlie Leadership Development Centre, 260 Domain Rd, South Yarra, 3141.
  • A relevant tertiary education would be highly desirable.
  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
