Position Details

About the role:
These roles are part of a newly established project team developing a significant program of work as part of the 2017 Community Safety Statement. This team will contribute to an ‘uplift' in Victoria Police leadership capability and culture across the workforce.  

Your duties will include:

  • Facilitating of leadership development programs and initiatives in metropolitan and regional Victoria;
  • Contributing to the design and development of capability approaches and program content;
  • Reviewing and evaluating leadership program content and delivery;
  • Assisting in administration and scheduling of programs to ensure that outcomes are met by 2021;
  • Strategic reporting on progress against project milestones and outcomes.  

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Experience in facilitation and/or delivery of training and education;
  • Highly developed communication skills with the ability to adapt approaches to the audience;
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate professional learning opportunities in an interactive format;
  • Demonstrated experience in providing and maintaining professional learning quality assurance systems;
  • Well-developed inter-personal skills with a proven ability to manage and maintain stakeholder relationships;
  • Experience in a leadership role and/or education role relating to leadership development.

Requirements and relevant information:

  • Three (3) full time, fixed term positions until 14/01/2021 available.
  • Requirement to travel to regional areas within Victoria on a monthly basis for periods of up to one week.
  • The successful applicants will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head. To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
  • This position is located at Airlie Leadership Development Centre, 260 Domain Road, South Yarra 3141.
