Associate Director of Nursing / Operations Manager Maryborough
Permanent - Full Time – 80 hours per fortnight
Classification: To be negotiated
Award: Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2016-2020
This a great opportunity for a suitable individual to join the team at MDHS, working as the Operations Manager Maryborough. In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and facilitation of day to day operations of the clinical services, along with undertaking designated portfolios, and any special projects as required.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Qualifications / Experience
1. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
2. Working towards or has completed a post graduate management qualification
Specialist Expertise
3. Previous experience at a senior management level.
4. Demonstrated understanding of Governance & Risk Management systems and processes
5. Demonstrated knowledge of Clinical Governance.
6. Experience in management of change process and development of new services
7. Proficient in the use of PC Windows environment, data collection, analysis and trending
8. Experience with The Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) and aged care accreditation processes
9. Broad knowledge of professional issues in Nursing and knowledge of rural challenges
10. Manages and engages with stakeholders consistent with MDHS values of GREAT
11. Knowledge of contemporary human resource management issues including workplace health and safety, equal opportunity and anti-discrimination.
12. Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice.
