About the role:  

This position will be primarily office orientated and will be based at the Parks Victoria Office based at Wail.

Duties will include but are not limited to the preparation and assistance with the design of interpretive material and information, procurement of goods and services required for the continuation of the Parks Victoria business, oversight of the Parks Victoria group booking system for Mt Arapiles-Tooan State Park and Little Desert National Park including the Little Desert Discovery Walk. Candidate will also be required to assist with the ongoing maintanace and cleaning of visitor facilits located within these parks.The succesful applicant maybe required to work some weekends/public holidays.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Practical skills and experience in the maintenance and operation of small power equipment and tools for asset maintenance
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience in customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant level of knowledge of regulations and compliance procedures
