Allied Health Assistant in Speech Pathology –

Grade 2/Technical Assistant Grade 1

Temporary Part-Time  

 

Albury Wodonga Health – Albury campus requires an Allied health Assistant in Speech Pathology to join our admitted Speech Pathology team.  The successful applicant will work as a member of the admitted Speech Pathology team based in Albury but also supporting the admitted Speech Pathology team at Wodonga hospital.

 

Primary responsibilities of this role providing direct clinical care to patients under the supervision of the Speech Pathologist & within a multidisciplinary team as well as preparing and maintaining clinical resources for the Speech Pathologist.

Candidates meeting the following mandatory criteria are encouraged to apply:

  • Current qualification- certificate 4 in Allied Health Assistance
  • Excellent communication skills for working in diverse work environment
  • Excellent organisation skills for managing a busy workload

 

Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the NSW Health State Hospital Employees award.

 

Successful applicants will be required to complete appropriate Criminal Record Screening paperwork/processes in order for AWH to meet its obligations regarding screening for serious criminal offences (within and external to Australia).  Applicants unable to commit to this screening process should not submit an application for employment.

 

Successful applicants will be required to complete mandatory orientation modules using the AWH e-learning system prior to commencing employment.

 

This is a Category A position.  Successful applicants of Category A positions must provide evidence of vaccination prior to commencement.
