Registered Nurse – NP3

Adult Community Mental Health

2x Permanent Full Time Positions

 

Albury Wodonga Health – Wangaratta Campus requires 2 Registered Nurses NP3 to join our Adult Community Mental Health team. These positions are available currently (80 hours per fortnight).

 

Using a Recovery Orientated approach, the incumbent will provide face to face assessments (both crisis and ongoing care), telephone support and follow up and resources for people with a Mental Illness.

 

The incumbents will have contact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders relevant to the performance of the above role, therefore well- developed clinical and communication skills are an essential attribute for this position. The incumbent will be required to participate in an out of hours on call roster and weekend ECAT work. Such work requires the incumbent to be confident in making effective clinical decisions, in the context outlined within the MHA 2014 (Vic). The ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, and to collaborate professionally regarding client needs is also essential, as is the ability to work autonomously from time to time.

 

Computer literacy is essential for this position as is well developed written communication, time management and prioritisation skills.
