Northeast and Border Mental Health Service


12 Month fixed term part time

40 hrs per fortnight


Albury Wodonga Health is seeking application from appropriately experienced clinicians to provide maternity relief for 1 year in the Youth and Early Intervention Team. The clinician will provide assessment and treatment and support to young people aged 16-25 years who are experiencing emerging signs of a mental illness and other mental health disorders. The position is also expected to provide support and education to community based youth services in the management of young people with mental health problems.

The clinician works in a team environment and the position offers an opportunity for either an experienced or a less experienced mental health worker to develop skills and expertise in the early intervention of mental health disorders. There is also opportunity to contribute to the afterhours on call component of the service.


Essential requirements:

Registration as Division 1 nurse with with postgraduate in Community Mental health

Registration as Occupational Therapist, Psychologist. Social work Degree

Current driver's licence



Evidence of Dual Diagnosis capabilities or working towards same.

Experience in youth mental health or early psychosis

Postgraduate qualifications in mental health.
