Position Details


Operations Director – Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service

 Mental Health Nurse NP6 or Allied Health equivalent

Permanent Full time

 80 hours per fortnight


Albury Wodonga Health – Northeast and Border Mental Health Service invites suitably qualified and experienced senior mental health clinicians to apply for the position of Operations Director Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.


CAMHS is a community based service providing a range of specialist public mental health services for children and families in the northeast Victoria  and border region, including the Albury catchment area.  


The Director will provide:

  • Compassionate, Professional and Operational Leadership
  • Oversight of Quality, Clinical Governance and Risk Management systems
  • Accountability for the management of finite resources

Candidates meeting the following mandatory criteria are encouraged to apply:

  • Registration with AHPRA for Nurses, Psychologists and Occupational Therapists
  • Eligibility for registration with AASW for Social Workers
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in Mental Health
  • Post graduate qualifications in management, or working towards same
  • Current and Valid Driver's licence


Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Psychiatric Services Agreement or equivalent


Successful applicants will be required to complete appropriate Criminal Record Screening paperwork/processes in order for AWH to meet its obligations regarding screening for serious criminal offences (within and external to Australia).  Applicants unable to commit to this screening process should not submit an application for employment.


Successful applicants will be required to complete mandatory orientation modules using the AWH e-learning system prior to commencing employment.


This is a Category A position.  Successful applicants of Category A positions must provide evidence of vaccination prior to commencement.
