Permanent Full Time Position

Monday – Friday (hours negotiable)


Albury Wodonga Health requires an enthusiastic, proactive and passionate person to join the People, Culture & Development Directorate to support the Employee Wellbeing, Early Intervention & OHS Business partner and the team to ensure that management and staff are aware of the importance of employee wellbeing, early intervention, OHS and risk management. The role will support in the administrative requirements for the development and implementation of AWH's wellbeing programs and strategies to assist AWH in becoming a centre of excellent for a healthy workforce and an Employer of Choice.


Primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Develop administrative and reporting functions to ensure the successful integration of the early intervention strategies and programs to support employees to remain at work while recovering from personal injuries or illnesses.
  • Administratively support the injury management strategies designed to reduce the duration, cost and impact of workers compensation claims cost and risk exposure.
  • Monitoring and creating of reports for OHS, employee wellbeing and early intervention, manual handling and occupational violence for the Director People, Culture & Development.


Candidates meeting the following criteria are encouraged to apply:

  • Understanding of customer service principles and responsiveness to customer needs
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in general administration including sound knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience in Workers compensation (in both Victorian and NSW
  • Positive and proactive attitude towards change and the ability to think outside the square.

Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Victorian Public Health Sector (Health Professionals, Health and Allied Services, Managers & Administrative Officers) Multiple Enterprise Agreement 2011-2015.


Successful applicants will be required to complete appropriate Criminal Record Screening paperwork/processes in order for AWH to meet its obligations regarding screening for serious criminal offences (within and external to Australia).  Applicants unable to commit to this screening process should not submit an application for employment.


Successful applicants will be required to complete mandatory orientation modules using the AWH e-learning system prior to commencing employment.
