Position Details

Wodonga

 

Practice Manager - HS6

Permanent Full Time, 80 hrs per fortnight 

 

Albury Wodonga Health – Wodonga requires a Practice Manager to join our Outpatient Services Department to provide leadership and exceptional organisational skills to ensure the smooth operation of a variety of outpatient clinics.

Primary responsibilities of this role

  • Manage small to medium business/office including human resources, planning, budgeting and reporting
  • Develop and maintain a suite of practice policies and procedures
  • Coordinate staff employment and rosters including annual leave cover
  • Conduct regular staff appraisals
  • Lead practice Risk Management & Quality Improvement processes

Candidates meeting the following mandatory criteria are encouraged to apply:

 

  • Accredited training in business or medical practice management
  • Previous experience in a medical environment
  • Experience in financial management, accounting systems and reporting processes
  • Membership of relevant professional organisation e.g. AAPM

 

Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers Enterprise Agreement 2016-2020.

 

Successful applicants will be required to complete appropriate Criminal Record Screening paperwork/processes in order for AWH to meet its obligations regarding screening for serious criminal offences (within and external to Australia).  Applicants unable to commit to this screening process should not submit an application for employment.

 

Successful applicants will be required to complete mandatory orientation modules using the AWH e-learning system prior to commencing employment.

 

This is a Category B position.  Successful applicants of Category A positions must provide evidence of vaccination prior to commencement.
