ALBURY WODONGA HEALTH –

Ambulatory Rehabilitation Program

Albury Campus

 

Exercise physiologist – Level 1-3

(depending on experience)

 

 12 months Maternity Leave 48hrs / fortnight, Albury

 

Albury Wodonga Health, requires an enthusiastic Exercise physiologist to join the Health Independence Programs. The position is based at Albury Hospital providing service to community dwelling clients.

The position provides home and centre based interdisciplinary service to clients in Albury and surrounding shires, aiming to promote and maintain independence in all aspects of daily living. The successful applicant will be well supported by the physiotherapy department.  

 

Primary responsibilities of this role are to provide high quality Exercise physiology services to clients and their carers, including clinical, educative and consultative interventions in community settings. Group work will be part of the role including falls and balance groups, pulmonary rehabilitation and cardiac rehabilitation.

Candidates meeting the following mandatory criteria are encouraged to apply:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Exercise Physiology, with current accreditation through ESSA
  • Current driver's license

Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Allied Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement and/or the NSW Health Professionals State award.

 

Successful applicants will be required to complete appropriate Criminal Record Screening paperwork/processes in order for AWH to meet its obligations regarding screening for serious criminal offences (within and external to Australia).  Applicants unable to commit to this screening process should not submit an application for employment.

 

Successful applicants will be required to complete mandatory orientation modules using the AWH e-learning system prior to commencing employment.

 

This is a Category A position.  Successful applicants of Category A positions must provide evidence of vaccination prior to commencement.
