Albury Wodonga Health requires a Project Lead to join our Project Management Office (PMO).

 

The Victorian Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has provided finding to support health services to establish and scale up telehealth services, in particular for specialist clinics with high volumes of people travelling long distances to access specialist care.

 

This role is primarily responsible for the implementation of specialist psychiatric clinics through the use of telehealth across the defined region, utilising existing services and infrastructure. It is the scaling up of an existing project at Mansfield District Hospital. Partnership organisations are AWH Campuses, Mansfield DH, Corryong Health, Beechworth HS, Alpine Health Campuses and Benalla Health.

 

The project lead will take on all project management requirements including:

  • Review the Mansfield Telehealth Pilot project in order to replicate the project region wide;
  • Project, budget, scope and change management with sustainability planning;
  • Engagement with regional partners and the governing Steering Committee to ensure delivery of the project in accordance with the expected guidelines;
  • Facilitate and support the implementation of the project at the relevant health services.

Candidates meeting the following essential criteria are encouraged to apply:

  • Project management experience;
  • Demonstrated understanding of Change Management approaches;
  • Ability to understand and use Data and Analytics;
  • Excellent communication skills, able to facilitate a partnership project;
  • Ability to engage and manage internal and external stakeholders; and
  • Current drivers' licence and ability to travel within the Hume Region.

Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the relevant Victorian or NSW award, depending on the successful applicant. The position conditions will be equivalent to the Victorian Administrative Officers Award HS5.

 

The office location for the successful applicant will be negotiated depending on the preferred location of the applicant. As a regional project the successful applicant must be able to travel within the region, including overnight stays. Travel dates will be flexible depending on applicant, AWH vehicle and other stakeholder availability.

 

Successful applicants will be required to complete appropriate Criminal Record Screening paperwork/processes in order for AWH to meet its obligations regarding screening for serious criminal offences (within and external to Australia).  Applicants unable to commit to this screening process should not submit an application for employment.

 

Successful applicants will be required to complete mandatory orientation modules using the AWH e-learning system prior to commencing employment.

 

This is a Category B position.  Successful applicants of Category A positions must provide evidence of vaccination prior to commencement.
