Allied Health Translation to Practice Educator

Permanent Part Time

0.5 FTE


Albury Wodonga Health is seeking an Allied Health professional to join our Professional Development, Clinical Education and Research Unit to lead the development, implementation and evaluation of an education framework that promotes clinical excellence, translation of evidence to practice and research for allied health staff.  Collaborating with Allied Health Discipline Managers and other internal and external stakeholders, this role is essential to lead and promote the transference of skills and knowledge to practice.

Candidates meeting the following mandatory criteria are encouraged to apply:


  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant professional area qualifying for practice / registration in relevant Allied Health discipline.
  • Post graduate education qualification and/or Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
  • Demonstrated recent and relevant experience in the development, coordination, and implementation of education programs utilising a range of learning modalities
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to evidence based practice including promotion and utilisation of research
  • Demonstrated ability to network and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in information and communication technologies.
  • Evidence of a current driver's licence.


Successful applicants will be required to complete appropriate Criminal Record Screening paperwork/processes in order for AWH to meet its obligations regarding screening for serious criminal offences (within and external to Australia).  Applicants unable to commit to this screening process should not submit an application for employment.


Successful applicants will be required to complete mandatory orientation modules using the AWH e-learning system prior to commencing employment.
