Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team 


Mental Health Clinician

Full Time, Permanent Position (80 Hrs/Fortnight)


Albury Wodonga Health – Albury CAMHS campus requires an enthusiastic and experienced clinician to join our Clinical team. Albury CAMHS is a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for the provision of assessment, evidence based treatment and case management services to children and adolescents aged up to 18 years with psychological disorders and psychiatric illnesses including behavioural disturbance and prodromal syndromes requiring early intervention; and severe behavioural and psychological symptoms associated with depression, anxiety and psychosis. This position is ideally suited to someone who has a strong interest in working with children, adolescents and their families and genuine interest in developing their career in mental health.

Candidates meeting the following mandatory criteria are encouraged to apply:

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner regulation agency or eligibility for membership of the relevant professional association.
  • Recognised tertiary qualifications essential to specific professional discipline.
  • Evidence of a Class C driver's licence.

Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the relevant NSW Health award.


Successful applicants will be required to complete appropriate Criminal Record Screening paperwork/processes in order for AWH to meet its obligations regarding screening for serious criminal offences (within and external to Australia).  Applicants unable to commit to this screening process should not submit an application for employment.


Successful applicants will be required to complete mandatory orientation modules using the AWH e-learning system prior to commencing employment.


This is a Category A position.  Successful applicants of Category A positions must provide evidence of vaccination prior to commencement.
