Albury Wodonga Health is seeking applicants for a Permanent Part time Cook Grade A to work within the Food Services Department on the Albury Campus  


We are looking for a self-motivated individual with experience in a high energy Food service department; can work in a team environment, has well developed interpersonal skills and is able to work with a Head chef and/or with minimal supervision.


Responsibilities include preparation/cooking of menu items each day for patients, cafeteria and special functions in a professional and timely manner. Planning and production of nutritious, appetizing, well-presented and cost effective meals to meet all requirements of all clients in a hybrid "Cook Fresh" “cook Chill' operation. Including special Diet requirements and food modifications.


This role does include some Weekend and Public Holiday work and is routinely works a late or early shift. For more detail on shifts please contact Food Manager.


Salary and conditions of employment for the Albury position will be in accordance with the NSW Health Award.


Successful applicants will be required to complete appropriate Criminal Record Screening paperwork/processes in order for AWH to meet its obligations regarding screening for serious criminal offences (within and external to Australia).  Applicants unable to commit to this screening process should not submit an application for employment.


Successful applicants will be required to complete mandatory orientation modules using the AWH e-learning system prior to commencing employment.


This is a Category B position; Successful applicants must provide evidence of vaccination prior to commencement.
