Physiotherapist Level 1/2

Fixed Term 2 year Contract


Albury Wodonga Health requires an enthusiastic and motivated junior physiotherapist with at least 1 year clinical experience to join the friendly and dynamic Physiotherapy team. The contract is a NSW fixed-term contract until 24 January 2021.


The position is a rotation position which offers excellent opportunities to gain experience across a variety of clinical areas within AWH. All junior positions rotate across both Albury and Wodonga campuses, thereby widening clinical exposure and increasing learning and development prospects. The position is well supported by senior physiotherapy staff and a supportive supervision program.


Primary responsibilities of this role is to provide a high standard of physiotherapy services within AWH, including clinical, education and consultative interventions for clients/patients across both inpatient and community settings.

Candidates meeting the following mandatory criteria are encouraged to apply:

  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency
  • Minimum 1 year clinical experience
  • Current driver's licence


Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award


The successful applicant will be required to complete appropriate Criminal Record Screening paperwork/processes in order for AWH to meet its obligations regarding screening for serious criminal offences (within and external to Australia).  Applicants unable to commit to this screening process should not submit an application for employment.


The successful applicant will be required to complete mandatory orientation modules using the AWH e-learning system prior to commencing employment.


This is a Category A position.  Successful applicants of Category A positions must provide evidence of vaccination prior to commencement.
