Dietitian Community Health – Grade 2

1.0 EFT Maternity Leave Locum

10 Dec 2018 – 1 Nov 2019

 

Albury Wodonga Health – Wodonga requires a Dietitian to join our Community Health Team This position provides centre-based services to both individuals and groups, targeting disadvantaged clients. The caseload is broad, with clients seen across the lifespan. Experience in working with people with diabetes, eating disorders and mental health comorbidities is highly desirable.

 

Primary responsibilities of this role:

  • Assess and implement appropriate nutritional care of clients
  • Liaise with other healthcare providers and carers to support the client as required.
  • Prioritise and manage caseload effectively

Candidates meeting the following mandatory criteria are encouraged to apply:

  • An appropriate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, with eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia
  • Evidence of a Current Class C driver's licence.

 

Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the VIC Health Services Health Professionals (State) Award.

 

Successful applicants will be required to complete appropriate Criminal Record Screening paperwork/processes in order for AWH to meet its obligations regarding screening for serious criminal offences (within and external to Australia).  Applicants unable to commit to this screening process should not submit an application for employment.

 

Successful applicants will be required to complete mandatory orientation modules using the AWH e-learning system prior to commencing employment.

 

This is a Category A position.  Successful applicants of Category A positions must provide evidence of vaccination prior to commencement.
