Clinical Psychologist – Neuropsychologist

CDAMS Clinic

Part-time Temporary 0.2 FTE - 12 months

 

Albury Wodonga Health – Albury Campus requires an experienced Neuropsychologist to join our Cognitive Dementia and Memory Service (CDAMS).

 

The Primary responsibilities of this role is to provide timely and expert Neuropsychological assessment for people experiencing undiagnosed cognitive difficulties and dementia. The CDAM's clinician should be able to complete a detailed and thorough testing to assist with the diagnosis of the client's cognition.

 

We would accept applications from Neuropsychology registrars for this position whom require supervision for their AHPRA registration.

 

It is preferable that the CDAMS Neuropsychologist be available to work either a Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday.

Candidates meeting the following mandatory criteria are encouraged to apply:

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Neuropsychology
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a clinical psychologist
  • Experience in the application of clinical neuropsychological in diagnostic services especially dementia assessment services
  • Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary team
  • Extensive experience in working with clients with dementia and cognitive difficulties
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a client caseload within time constraints

 

Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with either the Health & Community Employee Psychologists (State) Award 2018 or Medical Scientists, Pharmacists and Psychologists Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 (Vic).

 

Successful applicants will be required to complete appropriate Criminal Record Screening paperwork/processes in order for AWH to meet its obligations regarding screening for serious criminal offences (within and external to Australia).  Applicants unable to commit to this screening process should not submit an application for employment.

 

Successful applicants will be required to complete mandatory orientation modules using the AWH e-learning system prior to commencing employment.

 

This is a Category A position.  Successful applicants of Category A positions must provide evidence of vaccination prior to commencement.
