Physiotherapist – Grade 1

Fixed term full-time contract


Albury Wodonga Health requires an enthusiastic and motivated Grade 1 physiotherapist to join the friendly and dynamic Physiotherapy team. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months from 4 March 2019 to 1 March 2020.


The position is a rotation position which offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience across a variety of clinical areas within AWH. While based primarily at Wodonga Campus, there will be opportunities for cross border experience at Albury Campus, thereby widening clinical exposure and increasing learning and development prospects. The position is well supported by senior physiotherapy staff and a supportive supervision program.


Primary responsibilities of this role are to provide a high standard of physiotherapy services within AWH, including clinical, education and consultative interventions for clients/patients across both inpatient and community settings.

Candidates meeting the following mandatory criteria are encouraged to apply:

  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency
  • Current driver's licence


Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Health Sector) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2016 - 2020.


Successful applicants will be required to complete appropriate Criminal Record Screening paperwork/processes in order for AWH to meet its obligations regarding screening for serious criminal offences (within and external to Australia).  Applicants unable to commit to this screening process should not submit an application for employment.


Successful applicants will be required to complete mandatory orientation modules using the AWH e-learning system prior to commencing employment.


This is a Category A position.  Successful applicants of Category A positions must provide evidence of vaccination prior to commencement.
