Albury Campus

Registered Nurse Permanent Contract 0.6FTE 24hrs per week

Beginning 18th February 2019

 

Albury Wodonga Health — Albury Campus requires Registered Nurses' to join our HAB Ward Team. We are seeking a caring, positive and enthusiastic Registered Nurse that has a passion for caring for others - including their peers. We pride ourselves on the quality care we provide to our patients which is also achieved by supporting each other as colleagues. The HAB Ward is a very positive environment and a joyful place to work, and we are looking for someone to join our team.

Primary responsibilities of this role include all duties expected of a Registered Nurse.

HAB Patients include but are not limited to:

-          Unwell/unstable patients requiring closer monitoring (ratios 1:2 - 1:3)

-          Patients post MET calls

-          Patients on DKA protocol

-          Cardiac Patients requiring CCM

-          Patients that are respiratory compromised and require HFNP

Candidates meeting the following mandatory criteria are encouraged to apply:

-          Current AHPRA Registration - with no restrictions (additional study/qualifications preferable but not mandatory)

Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the (NSW) Public Health System Nurses' and Midwives' (State) Award 2015

Successful applicants will be required to complete appropriate Criminal Record Screening paperwork/processes in order for AWH to meet its obligations regarding screening for serious criminal offences (within and external to Australia). Applicants unable to commit to this screening process should not submit an application for employment.

Successful applicants will be required to complete mandatory orientation modules using the AWH e-learning system prior to commencing employment.

This is a Category A position. Successful applicants of Category A positions must provide evidence of vaccination prior to commencement.
