Administration Coordinator – A05

Permanent Full time

 

Albury Wodonga Health – Albury Community Health requires an Administration Coordinator to join our Community Team. The purpose of this position is to lead, coordinate and monitor the day to day operations of the reception/administration and office support functions for the Albury Community Health Service.

 

Primary responsibilities of this role listed within position description with some key functions including:

 

  • Lead a team with a focus on excellence in customer service. Albury Community Health has approximately 80 staff with around 20 different services on offer.
  • Oversight of the day to day administrative activities which include client file management, medico-legal requests and contribution to quality improvement activities.
  • Represent Administration Team within the overall function of the Community Health Service.

Candidates meeting the following mandatory criteria are encouraged to apply:

 

  • Demonstrated skills and knowledge of office administration, including highly developed keyboard and computer skills, Microsoft Office, client management systems and reception duties.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in team management and the ability to work collaboratively with groups within a broad service environment.
  • Ability to identify, develop and implement initiatives of continuous quality improvement within designated area of work.
  • Experience in financial operations such as accounts processing, banking procedures and petty cash.

 

Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Health Employees' Administrative Staff NSW Award'.

 

Successful applicants will be required to complete appropriate Criminal Record Screening paperwork/processes in order for AWH to meet its obligations regarding screening for serious criminal offences (within and external to Australia).  Applicants unable to commit to this screening process should not submit an application for employment.

 

Successful applicants will be required to complete mandatory orientation modules using the AWH e-learning system prior to commencing employment.

 

This is a Category B position.  Successful applicants of Category A positions must provide evidence of vaccination prior to commencement.
