Wodonga
Medical Imaging Technologist – Grade 1 or Grade 2
Fixed term /Part- time
Albury Wodonga Health – Wodonga requires a Medical Imaging Technologist experienced in X-ray and CT to join our Medical Imaging team. Additional experience in Mammography is also desirable.
This role would require the flexibility to be rostered across departmental shifts ( including weekends) and also have the availability to participate in on-call work.
Primary responsibilities of this role include:
- performing a range of X-ray and CT examinations to a high standard
- the ability work autonomously as well as within a team environment
- the ability to communicate effectively with clinical and non-clinical personnel
- efficient management of daily patient lists and
- knowledge of PACS/RIS systems

Candidates meeting the following mandatory criteria are encouraged to apply:
- Current Victorian licensing and registrations , including registration with AHPRA and professional indemnity insurance
- Qualifications in Medical Imaging ( Bachelor of Science or equivalent )
Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Allied Health Professional Enterprise Agreement 2016-2010
Successful applicants will be required to complete appropriate Criminal Record Screening paperwork/ processes in order for AWH to meet its obligations regarding screening for serious criminal offences (within and external to Australia). Applicants unable to commit to this screening process should not submit an application for employment.
Successful applicants will be required to complete mandatory orientation modules using the AWH e-learning system prior to commencing employment.
This is a Category A position. Successful applicants of Category A positions must provide evidence of vaccination prior to commencement.
