Special Care Nursery 

Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife

Permanent Part -Time

0.4 EFT (2 days per week)

 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Registered Midwives/Nurses who have a keen desire to further their career within the AWH Maternity Unit Special Care Nursery. 

 

The Clinical Support Nurse (CSN) is responsible for the provision of clinical education to all learners working within the Special Care Nursery. The CSN promotes and role models evidence based practice, professional standards of practice and conduct and works closely with fellow CSN's in the Maternity Unit.

 

This is a clinical education leadership opportunity within the Special Care Nursey at Albury Wodonga Health, Wodonga Hospital and you will be working collaboratively with the Nurse Manager of the Special Care Nursery.  You will be a nursing clinical leader, with the ability to drive staff education and clinical support in line with clinical excellence and care across the Special Care Nursery. 

 

Albury Wodonga Health, Wodonga Hospital Maternity Unit is the largest regional health service in Victoria outside Melbourne & Geelong. There is 1650 to 1700 births annually. Albury Wodonga Health Special Care Nursery is a Level 4 Nursery and has an average occupancy of nine babies per day.
