Associate Nurse Unit Manager

Emergency Department

Permanent Part- Time

64 hours per fortnight

We are a large, dynamic organisastion, providing excellence in care to our regional communities.  The combined presentations between our two ED's is approximately 65,000 per annum, with a variety of presentations of all age groups and specialties.  We are currently undergoing significant growth with a new Emergency Department planned for 2020.

Applications are invited from suitably experienced Registered Nurses to join the dynamic team in our Emergency Department, Wodonga Campus. The successful candidate will be afforded a supportive leadership program in-line with Emergency Service's capability framework.

Candidates meeting the following mandatory criteria are encouraged to apply:

  • Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA;
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing,
  • Minimum 2 years post Certificate completion experience in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing;
  • Desire to develop leadership skills within a supportive framework;
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient-focused care;
  • Ability to work as a team member within a multidisciplinary environment;
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and strong desire to extend leadership skills;

  

Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2016- 2020.

 

Successful applicants will be required to complete appropriate Criminal Record Screening paperwork/processes in order for AWH to meet its obligations regarding screening for serious criminal offences (within and external to Australia).  Applicants unable to commit to this screening process should not submit an application for employment.

 

Successful applicants will be required to complete mandatory orientation modules using the AWH e-learning system prior to commencing employment.
