Position Details
About the role
- Build strong relationships with Regional Management and key stakeholders across the organisation and actively contribute to Parks Victoria through effective cross functional engagement.
- Monitor budget and expenditure, identifying potential trends and providing timely and appropriate advice including remedial action plans, to the District Management Team and cost centre managers.
- Manage the coordination of District learning and development and ensure coordination with the state-wide learning and development program delivery.
- Key point of contact for sustainable organisation functions within the district and liaison point for fleet, plant and equipment and portable and attractive assets.

Core duties include:
- Analysing standard reports to determine resource requirements, generating reports from financial information systems, labour reports, reporting on District status, inventory transactions, procurement etc.
- Assist the District Manager with managing and determining priorities within allocated budget and resources to ensure they are achieved in a timely manner.
- Liaise with other Managers, Corporate Finance and Legal and Governance, when required, on matters that impact activity, targets and costing and legal requirements.
- Coordinate of input into budget processes, reviews and allocation of District budgets.
- Manage the Business Support Administrator and District Community Engagement Ranger.

- Provision of expert and technical advice and support.
- Experience in developing and implementing management and action plans.
