Registered Nurse – Oncology Department

Fixed Term Part Time – 64 hours per fortnight available

To commence asap for up to 12 months

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join the team in our Oncology Department in this fixed term position!  In this role, you will deliver a high level of care to patients, provided in a quality framework.

Qualifications / Experience

  1. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions.

Specialist Expertise

  1. Sound understanding of the role and responsibilities of a Registered Nurse
  2. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff at all levels within the organisation
  3. Ability to practice collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  4. Knowledge of and involvement in evidence-based practice and research activities
  5. Commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice.

Personal Qualities

  1. Excellent organisational skills particularly with respect to time management
  2. Well-developed interpersonal skills
  3. Excellent communication and computer skills at the level required to fulfil the role.
