  • Part time (0.8 FTE) maximum term position up to 12 months
  • Salary based on experience, range: $95,993 - $119,989 (pro rata) plus super

About the role:
Disaster Legal Help Victoria (DLHV) is a collaborative service which responds to legal needs arising from disasters. In this role you will coordinate and support the work of the DLHV partnership.
Key responsibilities will include engaging with stakeholders and establishing and maintaining trusted relationships, contributing to strategic advocacy and supporting cross-sector collaboration and activities. You will also play a fundamental role in coordinating the DLHV response in the event of a disaster, including establishing and maintaining key elements of the response and enhancing DLHV's community legal information and education within the community.

About you:
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:

  • Strong experience in project management, the designing, implementation and evaluation of projects and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage colleagues and stakeholders to bring about positive change.
  • A strong commitment to social justice with an understanding of the factors that cause disadvantage and affect people's capacity to access assistance with the ability to quickly understand and maintain up to date knowledge of the legal assistance sector and disaster related need.
  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent relevant experience in a related field and have a genuine commitment to the vision and values of VLA and Disaster Legal Help Victoria.
