About the role
Cenitex plays a key role in helping set the government direction for securing critical infrastructure across the enterprise and end user devices. It also provides essential operational management and support through a specialised Security support operation team. Additionally, Cenitex has commenced its three-year strategic roadmap to Multi cloud which includes development, implementation, and operation transition to Cyber secure solutions for cloud. Security is at the heart of all cloud solutions.
As the Cyber Security Manager, you will lead and be responsible for Cenitex' s delivery of Security services to customers ensuring services keep government technology assets secure as well as meeting and exceeding customer expectations. A pivotal position managing a team with a dedicated focus on cyber monitoring, detection, response, continuous improvement, and mitigation. You will have the opportunity to:
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on all issues relating to cybersecurity incident response and manage security operational matters. This includes attending customer meetings to present reports and work with Departmental security experts.
- Determination of incident management criticality in terms of business impact, minor, significant, or emergency per the Victorian Government cyber security incident plan.
- Provide specialist security expertise, guidance, and assistance in cyber security management, liaising with the relevant statutory bodies including the Digital Victoria Cyber Security Unit.
- Build and manage a proactive security team capable of defending the organization against security threats.
- Ensure the tools, procedures and skills are continually reviewed and enhanced as the security landscape continues to change and evolve.
- Shape the future of a security operation and support team for multi-cloud.
You will have:
- Strong operational leadership experience in security operational centres.
- Ability to develop and drive strategic and operational objectives.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to credibly communicate, negotiate and influence outcomes.
- Significant track record in developing and leading high-performance teams, with proven ability to motivate, inspire and align teams to strategic priorities.
- Strong understanding of security products and services.
