About Cenitex

Cenitex brings together the best technology and the best people to keep the Victorian Government operating, connected and working for the community 24/7. Our customers are at the centre of everything we do and our goal is to provide reliable, robust and contemporary shared services and technology so the departments, agencies and over 35,000 employees we work with, can deliver for the Victorian public.

About the role

This senior HR position works with dedicated client groups to establish and build organisational capability, structures and people management practices. You will act as a conduit to ensure alignment of organisational, HR and business unit goals and will work collaboratively with ‘HR centers of excellence' to develop holistic solutions to complex people issues. As a senior HR practitioner, you will lead and/or contribute to the implementation of HR strategies or organisational changes, with strategic business impact.

About You

To complement our existing team, this opportunity would suit a well-rounded HR professional with a strength in employee relations, advanced knowledge of the Victorian Public Sector (VPS) IR framework as well as HR best-practice. This will enable you to develop and lead a strategic employee relations approach, including policy, procedure and process, that will help position CenITex as an industry leader and employer of choice.

You will have demonstrated confidence and capability to provide sound advice; diplomatically challenge the status quo; and be adept with managing relationships with range of stakeholders, including senior executives and unions.  Whilst your initial focus will be building our approach and capability in employee relations, you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise across a range of other specialist areas from organisational development, resources management and change. Therefore, having good project management skills, a ‘can do attitude' and an open mind will be of great benefit.

Commencing immediately, this is an excellent opportunity to make a distinct and strategic impact to a small, but important team.
