Position Details

About the Role

Due to increased demand within our project delivery team, we currently have two Senior Engineer Windows vacancies available - one ongoing and the other, a fixed term three (3) year role.

In this position, you will be required to provide the Project Services Team with Server product authoritative, expert technical advice and knowledge to ensure the successful delivery of Projects to maintain the health of the Operational capabilities of the Managed Server and OS platforms and environments.  You will promote strong operational interaction across the broader CenITex Service Operations streams to ensure agreed service levels are adhered.

In addition to the above, you will also need to provide operational support services within the provisioned Service Desk Toolsets and Defined Support Processes (Incident, Problem, Change and Release).  On-call support may be a requirement for after-hours fault rectification based on a rostered schedule across each technical team.

About You 

Whilst you will be required to bring strong, proven experience across L2/L3 Wintel support, your experience will ideally include the following but not be limited to the below outlined: 

Expertise/technical knowledge: 

  • Ability to develop technical guidelines and implement project and administrative processes and procedures as part of continuous improvement aligned to industry best practice.
  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft technologies (i.e. AD, DHCP, DNS, PowerShell).
  • Capacity to perform project activities within ITIL based service management guidelines, and, security policies and standards.
  • Technical experience operating within virtual infrastructure.
  • Technical experience in physical infrastructure and operating systems.
  • A collaborative positive approach to work with the willingness and ability to contribute within a team environment focused on customer centricity.


  • A relevant business or ICT tertiary qualification would be highly regarded.
