Job Summary 

The role of the Technical Specialist ITSM (ServiceNow) Development is critical in supporting the team and acts as a 2IC to the Team Leader, it has become available for a one year fixed-term due to the incumbent going on leave for a year. 

Service Now has been with Cenitex for over a year now and this role will see to any improvements required within the tool as well as assist with new integrations and onboarding of new customers. This role will cover one or more infrastructure and Cloud technologies and will require frequent collaboration with stakeholders of all levels. It will perform complex third level operational or project activities within service management and Agile/Waterfall project frameworks to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction to ensure service levels are met or exceeded.

In the role you will have the oppurtuniy to:

  • Drive internal enhancements for the Service Now platform 
  • Analyse and prepare technical reports, business proposals and technical dashboards
  • Advise senior stakeholders on technical standards, solutions and initiatives
  • Perform operational and project activities within Cenitex ITIL based service management guidelines and security policies and standards

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • Expert knowledge and experience in the ServiceNow suite of products.
  • ITSM Module Process development for Incident, Change, Problem and Knowledge management and Agile development methodology
  • Experience with the integration of ServiceNow with other ITSM tools via WebAPI/Integration Hub,
  • A strong customer focus, can-do attitude and be a proven team-player 
  • Any ServiceNow Certifications (CSA,CIS) highly desirable
