Project Management Office Manager

Permanent Full Time – 76 hours per fortnight

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced office manager to join the team at Maryborough District Health Services in the role of Project Management Officer Manager.

The Project Management Officer Manager is primarily responsible for the management, monitoring, reporting and delivery of all health service business systems applications and information and communications technology (ICT) projects.

We are looking for someone with the following qualities:

  • Project Management certification highly regarded
  • Thorough knowledge of procurement and other project-related activities

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Qualifications / Experience

  1. At least five years of experience in a related role
  2. Familiarity with project management software
  3. Project management certification highly regarded

Specialist Expertise

  1. Demonstrated experience in the implementation of business systems applications and ICT projects throughout a lifecycle
  2. Thorough knowledge of procurement and other project-related activities
  3. Ability to apply project management frameworks and methodologies

Personal Qualities

  1. Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey the vision, goals, expectations and issues of the project to stakeholders and team members
  2. Strong organisational skills, including the ability to effectively manage, coordinate and prioritise tasks
  3. Strong time management skills,  including the ability to create a project timeline and maintain those deadlines throughout the project lifecycle
  4. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work productively with a team
  5. Relationship management skills, including the ability to develop and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders
