Casual District Nurse

Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse

Classification: Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Award: Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Registered Nurse

Qualifications / Experience

  1. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  2. Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
  3. Recent clinical experience or sound understanding of community nursing practice is desirable.
  4. Post registration qualification in relevant area of speciality or working towards same is desirable.

Specialist Expertise

  1. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, family/carers and staff at all levels within the organisation.
  2. Demonstrated written and computer skills at the level required to fulfil the role.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of and involvement in evidence-based practice and research activities.
  4. Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice.

Personal Qualities

  1. Demonstrated organisational skills, particularly with respect to time management.
  2. Demonstrated ability to contribute and practice collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  3. Have well developed interpersonal skills

 

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Endorsed Enrolled Nurse

Qualifications / Experience

  1. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  2. Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice.
  3. Demonstrated sound level of nursing skills and works within safe practice principles.
  4. Demonstrated commitment to the provision of care which focuses on the individual and support networks.

Specialist Expertise

  1. Knowledge of Home & Community Care Program (HACC).
  2. Ability to attend to Phlebotomy.
  3. Ability to work across MDHS campuses.
  4. Willing to undertake Post Graduate Qualifications.

Personal Qualities

  1. Demonstrated organisational skills, particularly with respect to time management.
  2. Demonstrated ability to contribute and practice collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  3. Have well developed interpersonal skills
