About the role

This newly created position will perform a pivotal role in Cenitex's procurement transformation. The role will report upon and monitor performance and compliance requirements within the procurement and finance areas of the business. In addition, the role will utilise strong business analytical skills to continuously review Cenitex's transactional procurement data to identify trends and issues, as well as propose improvements where applicable. It will further ensure Cenitex is aligning processes to policy. It will capture and maintain compliance to VGPB principles and deliver on the department's value propositions.

Initially, the role will focus on implementing data capture and reporting frameworks to satisfy ongoing VGPB and other business requirements, as well as assisting with the transformation of procurement systems and processes.

About you

Excelling in this role will see you combining your substantial experience in procurement's broad processes with your proficiency in data management and analysis. Key aspects of your skillset will include evidence-based problem solving and a dedication to strong stakeholder relationships achieved through service excellence and effective communication.

While prior experience within a government setting is ideal, of greater importance is your ability to balance the commercial needs of the business with its governance requirements.
