Position Details
- Lead finance services across multiple prison locations.
- Guide a small team and help them do great work.
- Use your finance skills to improve systems and solve problems.
- Enjoy a varied role with leadership, reporting and analysis duties.
- Ongoing, full-time role earning $81,496 - $98,955 per year, plus super.
What you will do
As team leader, finance, you will lead finance services across the Barwon Southwest Prison Precinct.
You will support strong financial controls, reporting and daily operations across several prison sites.
You will:
- lead a team delivering finance services across multiple prisons
- implement effective financial processes and improve how work is done
- provide detailed financial analysis, reporting and advice to support decision-making
- oversee prisoner spending systems and ensure compliance with legislation and guidelines
- support local finance procedures through review, implementation and ongoing improvement.
About you
No formal qualifications are required. Relevant experience in finance, reporting or team leadership will be highly regarded.
You should also have:
- experience in financial management, reporting and financial systems
- strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
- the ability to improve processes and support continuous improvement
- strong people leadership and communication skills that help build positive working relationships.
