Nurse Practitioner – Well Women's Clinic - Community

Permanent Part Time – 40 – 48 hours per fortnight

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential

Qualifications/experience

  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Division 1 Nurse or Midwife
  • Endorsed as a Nurse Practitioner with the NMBA
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working as Nurse Practitioner
  • Post Graduate Qualification (or working towards) in sexual and/or reproductive health
  • Working With Children Check and current drivers licence

Desirable

  • Accredited cervical screening provider
  • Accredited nurse immuniser
  • Experience in providing care within a primary care setting
  • Experience in the provision of care to person seeking pregnancy options
  • Experience in the provision of care to person reporting sexual assault
  • Experience in the insertion and removal of Implanon NXT/contraceptive device

Specialist Expertise

  • Demonstrated advanced clinical nursing skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of professional nursing issues.
  • Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice
