About the Role:

As the Payroll Team Leader at Parks Victoria, you will oversee the payroll team, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. You will provide specialist advice, guide best practices, and support the implementation of a standardised payroll system. This role requires strong leadership to mentor team members, resolve payroll queries, and deliver superior customer service to employees and management. Your expertise will help ensure efficient payroll operations, accurate pay computations, and adherence to policies, enterprise agreements, and audit processes.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Thorough knowledge of payroll processes, procedures, and regulations
  • Experience using Oracle payroll software is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing team performance
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of expert and technical advice and support
  • Tertiary qualification in Business or equivalent experience is desirable
