About North East Link

The North East Link Project (NELP) is a $15.8bn infrastructure project that will connect the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network, whilst increasing the capacity of the Eastern Freeway. It will slash travel times, get trucks off local roads and link key growth areas in the north and south-east whilst creating thousands of new jobs. 

NELP is the Victorian Government entity responsible for the delivery of this mega-project.  NELP has already laid out initial design concepts, engaged community leaders and are now at tendering stage with several major contractors.  With completion due in 2027, things are ramping up fast at NELP.

About the opportunity

Be part of a transformative infrastructure project for Victoria, with an exciting role in the North East Link Project's Finance and Business Services team.

In a highly dynamic and evolving environment, this role will partner with the business to manage the information, communications and technology and business facilities requirements. You will be required to negotiate and facilitate solutions to ensure targeted initiatives are successfully implemented to assist the organisation in delivering the North East Link Program.

About you:

You are:

  • A highly adaptable and solutions focused individual, with an ability to operate in a fast paced environment with a proactive approach
  • An individual with a natural affinity for interpersonal relations and stakeholder management, and an ability to work collaboratively in the pursuit of team goals
  • Excited about identifying organisational ICT needs, successfully negotiating and facilitating appropriate solutions and ensure targeted initiatives are developed and implemented within required timeframes
