About the role

This Ranger role is based at Beechworth and services a number of parks and reserves, most notably the Chiltern Mt Pilot National Park and Beechworth Historic Park. This role will deliver in-park services and on-ground works such as maintenance of assets, infrastructure, and facilities and the field delivery of environmental projects.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Experience in self-management, customer service, communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability in practical problem solving in field work or similar hands-on work.
  • Ability to relate to and engage with the public - customer service and community engagement.
  • Experience and knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to use bespoke applications.
