Position Details

  • Full time / maximum term position up until August 2026
  • Salary based on experience, range: $123,625 - $157,340 plus super
  • Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model

About the role:
This Change Manager position that will be responsible for collaborating with the Senior Change Manager and Project Managers through providing guidance and oversight on projects and reforms across the organisation.

As part of this position, you will have the opportunity to enhance the change management skills of VLA staff and establish improved practices and standards for effective change management. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in advising managers and project managers on change readiness and stakeholder engagement. This collaboration will involve working closely with the Learning and Organisational Development as well as Strategic Communications teams.

This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country, occasional travel may be required to our Regional offices.

About you:
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:

  • Significant experience in complex change management programs, preferably in the government, justice, health and social services sector.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills across all stakeholders to implement the change process.
  • Strong problem solving and root cause identification skills and understanding of organisational challenges in the change process.
  • Demonstrated abilities in mentoring, coaching and advising on change management and stake holder engagement.
  • Excellent judgment, political sensitivity in writing and editing strategy materials by using variety of channels to target multiple audiences.
