Trainer & Assessors – Multicultural Education

Casual Positions

Shepparton

GOTAFE is seeking suitably qualified and experienced persons to deliver training and assessment in our Multicultural Education team on a casual basis and primarily work at our Shepparton Campus but may require delivery across our other campuses.

You'll prepare for, plan and conduct teaching sessions and undertake resulting requirements for our English as a second language courses.  You will also be required to supervise and monitor student progress and provide pastoral care to students as well as provide course advice and guidance as required.

Excellent written and oral communication skills and a customer centric approach are essential as is the ability to manage a busy workload.

Suitable candidates will have:

  • A recognised bachelor degree and significant experience
  • A recognised postgraduate qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages (TESOL).
  • Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
  • A satisfactory Police Records Check and Working with Children Check
  • A current motor vehicle (car) driver's licence.

Appointment to this role is subject to a satisfactory Police Records and Working with Children Check.
