Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE (GOTAFE) has an exciting opportunity for an Administration Officer to join the GOTAFE Business Services division.

This role ensures that standardised student enrolment and management processes and practices are used across all Institute enrolment sites, manages the Institute’s Academic Regulations (including fees and charges and Student Management Systems (SMS) set up), oversees student administration, develops the Institute’s records system, and administers the Federal Government's HEPCAT system and other state related reporting systems.

Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE (GOTAFE) has an exciting opportunity for an Administration Officer to join the GOTAFE Business Services division.

This role ensures that standardised student enrolment and management processes and practices are used across all Institute enrolment sites, manages the Institute's Academic Regulations (including fees and charges and Student Management Systems (SMS) set up), oversees student administration, develops the Institute's records system, and administers the Federal Government's HEPCAT system and other state related reporting systems.

As the successful candidate you will have:

  • Certificate III in Business (Office Administration) or previous equivalent work experience in a similar role
  • A proven ability to provide support in a customer service environment
  • An ability to carry out tasks in a professional manner whilst ensuring personal behaviours are aligned to the Institute's values
  • Ability to liaise with a range of internal and external customers
  • Skilled in the use of software packages including Microsoft Office, Student Management Systems, Interstate Student Data Base Systems or equivalent, accounting and database programs
  • A proven ability to provide clear verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to support team deadlines and work in a small team with a high degree of self-motivation to achieve agreed outcomes.

Outstanding customer service, along with a professional approach is essential.
