Position Details

TRAINER AND ASSESSOR - DISABILITY SUPPORT
Fixed Term 1 December 2018 until 31 December 2021
Location: Wangaratta

GOTAFE has a great opportunity for a qualified and passionate Trainer and Assessor to join our Community Services team. This position is located in Wangaratta. 

You will be required to undertake all administrative tasks relating to the delivery and assessment of training.  Excellent written and oral communication skills and a customer centric approach are essential as is the ability to manage a busy workload.

As the successful candidate you will have:

  • A Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 with new credential requirements TAE ASS502 and TAELLN411) or TAE40116
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications – Disability Support/Community Services (Specialist skills in NDIS will be considered favorably)
  • Significant experience in Disability Support Work/Community Services with specialisation in with NDIS desirable (minimum 3 years)
  • Sound knowledge of current industry standards
  • A current Working with Children Check and Police Check
  • Current and valid Driver's License

Outstanding customer service, along with a professional approach is essential.
