PROCUREMENT AND CONTRACTS MANAGER
Location: Shepparton

We have a great opportunity for a Procurement and Contracts Manager to join our Business Services team. The Procurement and Contracts Manager will be responsible for purchasing strategy, policy and processes to effectively meet organisational and business objectives.

This role will lead and be responsible for developing strategies, managing sourcing initiatives, establishing strategic and operational contracts and supply management strategies that minimise risk and achieve best value to meet business objectives.

As the successful candidate you will have:

  • A Degree and post graduate qualification in business, accounting, or related field, with minimum of 2 years relevant experience as Procurement and/or Contract Manager or related position, or, a suitable combination of lesser qualifications and relevant substantial experience in a leadership or management role
  • Knowledge and understanding of procurement and contract processes, policy, systems, and industry trends including ability to integrate those considerations into tender and contract requirements
  • Ability to liaise with senior stakeholders on key issues and provide expert and influential advice
  • An ability to carry out tasks in a professional manner whilst ensuring personal behaviours are aligned to the Institute's values
  • Hold a current National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
