About the role:  

As the Regional Project Coordinator, you will focus on the operational delivery of Fire Recovery Projects in East Gippsland. You will be able to develop your project management skills in the environmental sector by managing expenditure and resources allocated to projects, managing project staff, budgets and contractors. You will be developing project briefs, supervising contractors and their field operations, monitoring project progression in the field, liaising will local and regional staff, reporting outputs using ArcGIS and supporting the region to implement these important projects on time and within budget. This supportive team work collaboratively and implement biodiversity projects to high standards with a focus on working together.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Environmental Management and Operational Delivery of Projects
  • Project Management skills - budget management and contract development
  • Extensive experience in biodiversity management and staff management

About the branch:

The Eastern region consists of a diverse range of parks and reserves. Staff working within the region are responsible for providing efficient and effective implementation of a broad range of often complex park management functions including natural, cultural and built asset management, visitor management and services, stakeholder management, park planning and emergency response.
