About the role:
As the Ranger Team Leader, you will lead a team of staff to deliver high quality services in line with the Regional Operations Plan, with support and under the direction of the Area Chief Ranger. You will work as a key member of the Area team in delivering on-ground services. You will monitor work practices and with support from the Area Chief Ranger and ensure compliance with relevant specifications such as Parks Victoria's policies and procedures. You will be responsible for guiding the team, providing ‘hands on' people management, inspiring enthusiasm as well as ensuring their safety and welfare.
We're looking for someone with:
- A Tertiary qualification in Science or equivalent
- Experience in leading and managing a large and complex team.
- Demonstrated flexibility in workload management.
- A track record in dealing with external stakeholders on a range of land management issues.
